After releasing her debut album in 2010, Hindi Zahra continued her successful music career, performing over 400 live shows in five continents before returning to her homeland, Morocco, in 2015, where she released Homeland, which summarizes her career, citing the story of her love for art and Homeland and the experiences she had during her tour around the world. Declared as “North-African Patti Smith,” Hindi Zahra’s mesmerizing elements of music feature a mix of African and Western compositions, demonstrating her versatile talents, such as lyric writing, music playing, singing and painting. Zahra and her band will perform live songs from her albums in English, French and Amazigh, featuring a vibrant mix of jazz, rock and funky music, during her appearance in a live show at the Jazz at the Island Festival in Sharjah on the 20th of April, 2018.
